Post-Doc Position in Analytical Chemistry

Job description:

As a post-doctoral researcher at RIC, you will work on the development, evaluation and application of sampling methods and analytical techniques for the analysis of trace volatile compounds in ambient air and biological samples. Techniques include passive and active sampling, followed by GC-MS analysis and olfactometry.
Both classical methods and innovative methods based on sorptive sampling will be applied. Special attention will be paid to data interpretation and construction of volatility/polarity diagrams.

 

Your profile:

  • You have a strong knowledge and know-how in gas chromatography - mass spectrometry.
  • You have a PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry or an equivalent qualification due to experience.
  • You have a broad interest in technology development, attention to quality and detail and a team oriented attitude.
  • Our teams are diverse and international. Therefore, you should have an open mind and strong English communication skills.
